Niseko's untold secret of the traffic-free, wide and well maintained roads, beautiful scenic routes, mild temperatures and attractive country landscapes. Biking enthusiasts come from all over the world to enjoy some of the best biking.
Whether for leisure or competition, on road or mountain biking, there is something for everyone.
Niseko Classic is one of the biggest road cycling events held annually.
In 2018, it will be held on 6 – 8 July More information.
Nature Ride Niseko will be held on 9 – 10 June. Enjoy an action-packed weekend with food tents at the main event venue and a hot spring facility close-by.
Tour de Hokkaido will be held on 7 – 9 September 2018

Lake Hangetsu Nature Park is a volcanic lake, just 15 minutes drive of Nest at The Trees, Niseko. The Lake spans a small area of 320 acres and is surrounded by lush forests providing the picturesque view of the lake. Hangestu in Japanese means half moon as the lake is beautifully shaped that way. Many activities can be enjoyed around the lake in summer.
Rafting & Canoeing
Looking for a summer-time adventure? Hidden beneath the snow is the Shiribetsu River, which runs 126 kilometers from the Sea of Japan before meandering through the magical town of Niseko. At the end of April, White-water rafting or canoeing in the Shiribetsu River is the perfect way to get your adrenaline pumping! Splash down the water rapids to views of iconic Mt. Yotei in the clearest waters of the Sea of Japan.

Shu Ogawara Museum of Art
Shu Ogawara is a Kutchan born famous painter, his arts have been displayed in the Shu Oguwara Museum of art in the city of Kutchan. Spend some time here to appreciate his beautiful paintings.
Kutchan Natural History Museum
The Kutchan natural history Museum exhibits 2 themes – “Nature and Environment of Niseko and Mt. Yotei” and “Life and culture of Kutchan people.”
